Who wouldn't love a free pair of shoes?

As most of you know the end of November I decided to do a little giveaway for the month of December. I figured December is one of those months where you are so busy buying for everyone else and planning parties that you forget or don't feel like you really have any extra money to throw around for yourself. So it was my little way to give back for this month.

I thought I would have people enter by writing me emails on what makes them ORIGINAL and why they deserve a FREE pair of B. Original Shoes. I got a better response then I could have even expected. I had people telling me there struggles and their accomplishments and at the end of the day I could not pick the best because they were all great and unique in their own way. So I did what any girl would do, wrote down all the names and threw them in a hat (quite literally) then picked a name.

Well who did I end up picking out of that hat but a friend I have literally known since I was 3 years old so that is a strong 20+ years of friendship. (i swear it was picked randomly) Briana Lyons when she was 2 years old lived up the street from where I grew up in the Bay Area, CA she walked down to my house all by herself and asked my mom if the little girl who lives here could play. After that we were pretty much inseparable. We have more of a sister relationship then a friendship, we could go years without talking and then spend one night catching up on the last 5 years like we were experiencing it all over again. Needless to saw she is one of the best people I know and I was very happy and excited to be able to give her a custom pair of B. Original Shoes that I designed with her favorite colors in mind.

It felt so good to do this that it just MIGHT turn into a bi-monthly GIVEAWAY I will keep you all posted though. Happy Holidays, LOVE, PEACE, HAPPINESS.

Flea Market @ The Well

I HEART VINTAGE

PRETTIES BY CHRISTINE

This cute little bracelet is what I got to take home from Pretties by Christine <IN LOVE>

The event yesterday at The Well was a pretty good show. At the show there was a lot of vintage, also some hand made goodies and very cool people. It was nice to meet the woman behind the event who is also a jewelry designer. She teams up with her mom 'Originales by Rosie' to make those awesome hats and all the jewelry. They have been doing this Collective Flea Market for almost 4 years now, showing off local LA talent and the crafty vintage collectors in the area. The event is open to all ages and there was even a place you could get your nails done at the event. Sangria was served and for a rainy day in Los Angeles it was a pretty sweet turn out.

One of my favorite designers there was the Pretties by Christine. You should really check out her site on Etsy  here. She had everything from necklaces, rings, pins, and bracelets. I scored the cutest bracelet with the red rose. (pictured above) It was extremely difficult for me to just pick one thing though.

Good News!!!! Me and my good friend Samantha Rogers of 'It must be felt' will probably have a booth at one of these events in the near future. Keep you posted! ;)

Check out all the amazing Etsy stores so you can see what I got to see

Of course I forgot my camera at home but thank goodness by phone came through and didn't do such a bad job so I can show you this amazing place. Oh and my friends stuff were pretty amazing too, A.J Catalano, Robert Lee, & a new talented friend Johnny Fox.
